PROFESSIONAL VOICE: VOICE AND SPEECH TECHNIQUE: This course is designed for students across disciplines who use their use their voices. Students will learn how to train and maintain a healthy, creative, and engaging voice for their professional lives while also examining personal biases regarding sociolinguistic stereotyping. We will cover vocal health and hygiene, breath support, sound production and projection, expression and paralanguage, storytelling, and dialect. [AH]
