ARCHAEOLOGY FIELD SCHOOL TREK: PROYECTO ARQUEOLOGICO WAKA: This field school will consist of daily on-site experiential learning about archaeological field techniques (including photography, illustration, and note-taking) and excavations at Waka’. Throughout the 3-week field school, bi-weekly lectures will be offered on a variety of related topics. These lectures paired with daily site engagement will afford students opportunities to link on-site experiences with evening discussion. Students will maintain a daily journal for archaeological observations in the field in addition to the one for more personal reflections provided by GEO. Doing so will ensure you are prepared to provide a well-examined Post-Season reflection. Prerequisite(s): Prerequisites: ARCH-21900 SPAN-10100 and SPAN-10200, and either ARCH-10300 or ANTH-11000.
