DATA 23000 - Applied StatisticsCourse Credit: 1 APPLIED STATISTICS: This is a second course in statistics. The focus is the application of statistical methods to practical problems involving real data from many disciplines. Topics to be covered include regression analysis, experimental design, analysis of variance, and logistic regression. In addition, students will learn to use a statistical software package. This course is very similar to DATA 23100, but not writing intensive; students may not receive credit for both. Prerequisite(s): Take MATH-10200, DATA-10200, MATH-32900, ECON-11000, BIOL-20300, or PSYC-25000. Annually [MNS, QL]
