ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY: The fundamental principles and methodology of chemical analysis are examined with examples from biochemistry and organic and inorganic chemistry. Topics include discussion of errors and statistical treatment of data, a review of equilibria, and introduction to spectroscopy, electrochemistry, and analytical separations. The laboratory emphasizes experimental design, using library resources, and methods for obtaining and evaluating quantitative data.
