AN INTRODUCTION TO GLOBAL HISTORY Global history examines the interactions between different cultures across the globe from ancient times to the present. These interactions range from trade, to warfare, to the exchange of ideas, technology and disease. More specifically, global history explores the ways that those interactions have changed over time, and the impact they have had on economics, society, culture, politics and the environment at the local level.
