GLOBAL ISSUES IN DEAFNESS This course will address the nature and ramifications of deafness among children and adults, the definitions, history, changing status, and future of Deaf Culture in the U.S. and other areas of the world, societal perceptions of the Deaf, and interpersonal, educational, and vocational ramifications of deafness.
