History of Life Life has a long and fascinating history recorded in rocks, fossils and living organisms themselves. This course covers the history of life and Earth from the beginning of the Universe through the appearance of our own species. Evolution is the primary theme, with particular emphasis on the complex relationships between the development of life and its physical environments. Three hours of lecture weekly. Annually.
