MAJOR THEMES IN GERMAN LITERATURE AND CULTURE A study of dominant recurring themes that cross period and genre lines and are important to the German cultural tradition. Topics will vary from year to year - e.g., Travel and Migration; The Artist and Society; The German Middle Ages; Fiction, History, and Memory; Nature, Space, and Place. May be repeated.
