Review of grammatical patterns and expansion of vocabulary for practical use outside the classroom setting. Use of multi-media resources (audio recordings, film, screenplays, newspapers, expository prose) to achieve proficiency. Introduction to cultural topics and intellectual currents most pertinent to contemporary China. Prerequisite(s): Take CHIN-20200 or equivalent Annually.
