models of explanation and the nature and biases
of evidence in interpreting the past; North
American archaeology; recent excavations of
specific sites; spatial analysis; Old World
prehistory; Mesoamerican archaeology. May be
taken more than once with permission of the
chairperson. Prerequisite: a minimum of two
courses in the major or permission of the
