PEOPLES AND CULTURES: JAPAN Exploration of the richness and diversity of a particular world culture. Readings and lectures provide the historical background for each culture area and an examination of the contemporary cultures. Generally focused on religious beliefs, economics,politics, kinship relationships, gender roles, and medical practices. Consideration of this culture area in the world economic system.
