BIOL 22100 - Comparative Animal Physiology

A detailed study of selected aspects of the physiological ecology of vertebrates and invertebrates, with emphasis on circulatory systems, respiratory systems, energetics, thermoregulation, salt and water balance, and chemical regulation. The laboratory component emphasizes techniques in organismal physiology and experimental design. Three classroom meetings and one lab meeting weekly. Prerequisite(s): BIOL-20100, BIOL-20200, and CHEM-11200, minimum grade C-; BIOL-22100L Annually.
