PSYC 22500 - Environmental PsychologyCourse Credit: 1 (ENVS) The field of environmental psychology explores the interrelationships between people and their physical environments, including both built and natural environments. This course covers the major areas of research in environmental psychology, including effects of the environment on humans, human perception of the environment, the relationship between humans and the natural world, and psychological factors affecting human care for the natural environment. We will also consider how this information can be applied to promote a healthier relationship between humans and their environment. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 10000 ; or permission of the instructor Alternate Years. [HSS]
