ARTH 22300 - Architecture I: the Premodern WorldCourse Credit: 1 (ARCH) A chronological and contextual study of world architecture and urbanism from the late-medieval period through the end of the eighteenth century. Themes addressed include: the definition of sacred space and the structure of worship in various traditions of religious architecture; the classical tradition and its permutations through Renaissance and Baroque architecture, the development of cities in comparative perspective.
