PHIL 23100 - Indian Philosophy and Its Roots

This course is an examination of the unique Indian tradition of philosophy, including careful study and analysis of the Vedic and Upanishadic inheritance, “Heterodox” developments, such as the Buddhist and Jaina systems, and the “Orthodox” schools of Hindu philosophy, as well as later developments in Indian thought.
