PHIL 21200 - Race, Gender and JusticeCourse Credit: 1 (WGSS) This course examines various historical and contemporary conceptions of race and gender and the relation these concepts have to past and present manifestations of injustice. The course critically engages: the onto - logical status of race and gender categories, the persistence of racial and gender groups/identities, and the psychological, corporeal, and economic effects of historical race-based and sex-based subjugation and disenfranchisement.
