COMM 25200 - Argumentation and PersuasionCourse Credit: 1 (COMS) The course examines both the theoretical and pragmatic aspects of argumentation as they relate to decision-making and the persuasion of both self and others. The goals of the course are to familiarize students with the basic concepts of argumentation and reasoning, to teach students how to articulate cogent arguments in both written and oral form, and to improve students’ abilities to analyze the arguments of others. Prerequisite(s): COMM 11100 Alternate Years. [AH]
