BIOL 34400 - Comparative Animal PhysiologyCourse Credit: 1.25 (NEUR) A detailed study of selected aspects of the physiological ecology of vertebrates and invertebrates, with emphasis on circulatory systems, respiratory systems, energetics, thermoregulation, salt and water balance, and chemical regulation. The laboratory component emphasizes techniques in organismal physiology and experimental design. Three classroom meetings and one lab meeting weekly. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 20100 , minimum grade C-, BIOL 20200 , minimum grade C-, and CHEM 11200 , minimum grade C-; or permission of instructor; BIOL-34400L Annually.
