BIOL 30700 - DevelopmentCourse Credit: 1 (BCMB, NEUR) Throughout this course we will investigate the current understanding of the genetic, molecular, and cell biological basis of multicellular organismal development. Emphasis is placed on critically analyzing historical and current experimental approaches from many different model systems with particular reference to the processes of cell differentiation, body plan formation, morphogenesis, and organogenesis. Three lectures weekly. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 11200 , minimum grade C-, and BIOL 20100 , minimum grade C-; or permission of instructor. Annually.
