POLITICAL ANTHROPOLOGY: A comparative analysis of politics as the cultural process through which people make binding decisions for groups. The course examines this process in western and non-western cultures at all stages of complexity from bands to stages within an evolutionary model. Prerequisite(s): Take ANTH-11000 or permission of instructor Alternate Years [HSS]
