CITIES IN CINEMA ”Cities in cinema” examines the complex and longstanding interrelationship and exchange between cinema and city. Urban theory constitutes the theoretical basis necessary for a dynamic interpretation of movies in this course. “Cities in Cinema” interprets a series of films that represent some of the central hopes, aspirations, and anxieties that characterize urban life throughout the 20th and into the 21st century.
