PSYC 32600 - Educational Psychology

EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY. This course will focus on key concepts from educational psychology and related disciplines (e.g., cognitive and developmental psychology). The role of psychology in an educational setting is to help educators see better the internal, external and socialized learning process that are occurring in and out of the classroom which allows one to understand and appreciate learning, the diversity of learners and the variations of learning within oneself. This course will prepare you for your Independent Study graduation requirement through exposure to APA-style writing, critical reading of research, and experience writing up empirical reports.
