Communication and Aging This course is an empirically based consideration of emotions, behaviors, beliefs, and attitudes related to aging and the process of communicating with older adults. Topics include: approaches to communication and aging, current evidence about communication and the aging population, interpersonal and intergenerational communication, mass communication and aging, health and healthcare interactions (patient-physician communication, etc.), older adults and technology, and cultural change.
