Course Credit: 1
(WGSS)
This course will explore the construction and reconstruction of sexuality in the western world mainly in the twentieth century. The purpose of the course is to enable students to develop a critical understanding of how definitions of sexuality have developed in particular historical contexts, how social concerns about sexuality have played out in private and public realms, and how a spectrum of sexual identities have been made and remade over time.
