RELS 26925 - Religious Visual & Material Culture

A study religions in practice, by means of visual and material images, objects & environments, and their uses and meanings, both within religious contexts and as these items circulate across religious boundaries and into secular contexts. No prerequisite, but note: This is not an introductory RELS course. Recommended preparation is at least one RELS course, or course(s) in SOCI, ANTH, or ARTH. [R]
